A qualifying Grand Prix for the final of the FEI ROLEX World Cup Jumping circuit is always an intense sporting moment. But, in Lyon, there is double the show thanks to the Equita’ Masters. Ever since 2005, the audience in Lyon have enjoyed watching champion riders compete in two jump-off classes. Their names are forever engraved on the winners list at Equita’: Markus Fuchs, Marcus Ehning, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Albert Zoer, Eric Lamaze, Steve Guerdat, Beat Mändli… The two showcase classes of this “five star” show-jumping competition have never been won by a French rider. Will this change in 2011?
